Is religious extremism being glamourised?
27th August 2014

Usman Khan from the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, Louis Reynolds from Demos, and Ibrahim Ali from the Federation of Islamic Student studies discuss the issues surrounding extremism, especially as we may begin to see UK citizens coming back from ISIS controlled areas.

The Metropolitan Police is asking for help in targeting 'aspiring terrorists.' It follows the beheading of American journalist James Foley by an Islamic state fighter believed to have a London accent. Its head of counter terrorism is appealing to religious leaders, friends and even family members to identify people who've travelled to Syria or are showing signs of being radicalised.

Are there solutions to the potential problem?
