Jon Hamm on London, theatre and photos
28th August 2014

Most people will know (and love) him for his role as Don Draper in Mad Men, but Jon Hamm is broadening his acting credentials in his latest project, Million Dollar Arm.

The actor plays J. B. Bernstein, a sports agent who wants to recruit Indian cricket players to play Major League Baseball.  Although the film is focused on the cricket players, the actor say he has yet to visit Lord's in London.

The 43-year-old says he is a fan of the capital and would love to perform on stage in the West End, joking that audiences could then "see me fail miserable live".

And despite his chiseled good looks, Hamm says he's not as photogenic as people may think; "You can certainly find photos of me looking like a disaster. That's the era we live in, everyone has a camera", he said.

Million Dollar Arm is out in UK cinemas on August 29.
