Benedict Cumberbatch on the red carpet at The Imitation Game premiere
8th October 2014

The London Film Festival opened with Benedict Cumberbatch’s latest film The Imitation Game.
The historical biopic follows the life of Alan Turing, a British mathematician considered to be the godfather of computer science.
Cumberbatch describes Turing’s story as ‘underrated’ adding that audiences are often ‘shocked’ when they realise how significant his role was during the Second World War.
He joined a star studded cast on the red carpet with fellow actors Keira Knightly, Charles Dance, Matthew Goode and Mark Strong.
He explained who the film was aimed at.
