Ghanaian opera singer Nino joined Claudia Liza Armah to discuss elitism in opera, building an audience in Ghana and and forging traditional rhythms with the great Romantic works.  

Raised in an opera loving household, Nino began singing in local churches. Live in our studio, he performed Nessun Dorma, from the final act of Pucchini’s Turandot - one of the world's best known arias. You can listen to it below.
