Ebola: public reassured?
13th October 2014

Is Ebola something to be concerned about or are the worried voices simply scare-mongering?

Jeremy Hunt, the Health Secretary, announced today he expects Ebola to be in Britain by Christmas, though he only foresees a 'handful' of cases. Passengers flying in from at-risk countries will soon be screened at Gatwick and at Eurostar terminals and the scheme is expected to be rolled out across the country should the risks increase. Unfortunately, the screening process will not catch every risk of Ebola coming into the country.

The Not The One Show panel discuss whether they are troubled by any threat of Ebola or reassured by Hunt that the dangers posed are negligible.
