Frieze Art Fair returns for 12th edition
14th October 2014

The Frieze art fair kicked off in 2003 to take advantage of the capital’s wealth of galleries and artists. Since then, it has embedded itself in the cultural calendar, helping to turn London into arguably the art capital of the world. This year the fair is being held in Bethnal Green.

The fair features galleries from thirty countries, which host work from living and deceased artists alike. Most pieces are for sale though director of the fair Amanda Sharp says there is no pressure to purchase: Frieze is a celebration of art.

At each gallery experts are on hand to discuss the artwork on display.
