Lynda Bellingham the ‘Oxo mum’ dies from colon cancer after refusing treatment

For millions she will always be the Oxo mum,actress and TV presenter Lynda Bellingham has died at the age of 66.

According to her agent, she died peacefully in the arms of her husband at a London hospital.

TV reporter Toby Earle explains how she controversially refused treatment for the disease last month after battling cancer for a year.

Toby talks through her amazing career, famous for television adverts,theatre, sitcoms and of course Loose Women.

She has just published her memoirs, where she said she wanted to be uplifting for anyone battling with cancer.

She was able to do a special pre-recorded Loose Women and she said: "Grasp it all, don't be afraid, enjoy the bits you can and tell your family you love them while you have the chance."

This episode is due to be aired on Wednesday this week.
