CROSSRAIL: The biggest transport innovation since the Tube

The two drills have been hard at it for two years.
Tunnelling their way under the city, avoiding monuments and tube lines to become the biggest transport innovation since 1863.
Crossrail is due to be complete in 2018, spanning the city from Reading to Shenfield through 50 stations, 10 of which are being built for this purpose.
With these new stations and better commute routes, certain areas in London will become hot spots for housing and investment.
