Who became Top Dog? MPs and their pooches at Westminster Dog Show
23rd October 2014

It is arguably the most important event in the pawlitical calendar – Westminster Dog of the Year.

Michael Gove and Andrew Mitchell were among this year 26 MPs and their pedigree chums will be trying to get their paws on the award.

This gives us a chance to ask that burning question… how much do MPs resemble their mutts?

London Live’s John Naylor was at the event, to see who came out top dog.

However, the Not The One Show find these attempts to be apawable distinctly unimpressive.  Baylen Leonard, broadcaster and country music specialist, journalist and broadcaster Belle Lupton and Jay Foreman, musician and comedian were all unimpressed by attempts to humanise politicians.
