Croydon campaigning to be reclassified as zone 4
28th October 2014

A campaign has started in Croydon to have the borough reclassified as zone 4, instead of its current grouping as zone 5.

Local Labour politicians say the move could save commuters living in the area hundreds of pounds each year.

One of those behind the scheme is Sarah Jones, Labour's parliamentary candidate for Croydon Central. Sarah explains why she believes Croydon deserves to be in zone 4, why it makes financial sense for the public that it is reconsidered as zone 4 and why the original classification was unfair when considered alongside other boroughs which made it into zone 4.
