Sparks fly over firework arrest threats at Primrose Hill

Primrose Hill park will be shut down at 9pm throughout the firework season, with police planning to arrest anyone who tries to light fireworks or Chinese lanterns.

The ruling follows trouble in the park four years ago, when a group of teenagers allegedly assembled on the famous central London vantage point and fired Catherine wheels and bangers at advancing officers.
