Mercury Prize nominees: 'A renaissance monk coming from a spaceship'

Tonight the winner of the Mercury Music Prize will be announced at a ceremony at the Roundhouse in Camden.

The winner of the award, which is one of the most respected in the industry, will take home not just the statue but also a cheque for £20,000.

With us to discuss the runners, the riders and the bookies' favourites is Amy Dawson, Music Editor of The Metro and George Cochran from DWL Music.

We hear what the panel think of FKA Twigs - who Amy considers "a renaissance monk coming from a spaceship."
