The Vicious Brothers talk Extraterrestrial and what not to do if you meet an alien
29th October 2014

When five pals head into the woods for a relaxing weekend away, they should realise that they’re perfect horror movie fodder and relaxing is about as likely as them all surviving.

In The Vicious Brothers’ new film Extraterrestrial, their mini-break is interrupted by a spectacular crash in a local woods which the five investigate, rather than driving home immediately What they find – and are also told by local Vietnam vet turned marijuana dealer Travis (Michael Ironside) – leaves their picnic plans in tatters.

Toby Earle caught up with The Vicious Brothers, who wrote this sci-fi shocker and found out how animals were the inspiration for some of the film’s more unpleasant parts, what it was like working with screen icon Michael Ironside, and what would happen to London if they could organise an alien invasion.

If you’re a tourist, you’d better be careful…
