Housing estate up for sale with no solution yet for residents
3rd November 2014

Residents of Raynesfield Housing Estate in Raynes Park are facing an uncertain future after the Mayor's Office for Policing and Crime (MOPAC) suspended their eviction. With many of the residents on low income and tied to the area through work, finding another place to live is challenging.

The Mayor's Office wants to sell off the houses to raise funds which they say will be invested in front line policing. But that will mean the residents, most of whom work in the public sector and have been there for many years, will be forced to live elsewhere.

Jake Tupman went down to find out more.
