Some London car parking spots now cost more than many homes
3rd November 2014

While it's long been known house prices are beyond eye-watering in many parts of London, things have just got a whole lot sillier for most of us, although estate agents are presumed to be rubbing their hands with glee.

Car parking spaces are also at a premium, with one recently going on the market for £400,000.

Alastair Budge from parking app Just Park explains who is paying out and why - and who's benefitting from the huge prices commanded.

It follows the news last week that an alleyway in Battersea sold for £260,000 - more than four times its guide price at auction.
