How one journalist followed the journey of immigrants from Syria

Roupell talks about the traumatic experiences her friends had as they migrated from the ugly, bloody uprisings in Syria. Out of a group of five fleeing, three survived. 

Roupell explains that with her film, she intended to humanise both asylum seekers and refugees, who are so often lumped together in one group and seen as a faceless crowd.
