It’s the event that takes into account all those saucy apps, sensitive sites and down-right bizarre dating companies.

It is a ceremony that will highlight the best of the business when it comes match making and love interests.

TV Presenter Rick Edwards gives us of his interesting advice to singletons in London.

London Live’s Louise Scodie met Charlie Lester,  the founder of the awards and George Kidd the Chief Exec of the Dating Association.

So who is in the shortlist?

App of the Year

Lovestruck, Plenty of Fish and Zoosk

We met the nominees from Lovestruck who were keeping their fingers crossed for that big prize.

But is wasn't all technical, Caroline Brealey is a matchmaker.
