17th November 2014

Five attacks have taken place on Paramedics over the last four days, which have been denounced as “completely unacceptable”.

Ross Lydall of the Evening Standard explains the problems staff on the front line have faced, including one shocking incident where a man took umbrage at the way an ambulance was parked and attacked the driver.

The London Ambulance service has warned it will seek prosecutions for all attacks on its staff – and have been doing so recently with success.
