Barts NHS Trust is the most complained about hospital

With 2,451 written in complaints Barts Health NHS Trust is the at the top of Britain’s first hospitals complaints league table.

‘Misdiagnosis’ is the biggest grievance made to the NHS, with the nest being the ‘attitude’ of the staff. Three out of ten complaints were about clinical care and treatment.

The Barts NHS trust sole to London Live and said: "We actively welcome patient feedback, and while sometimes it might be uncomfortable for us to hear, it is a vital element in our continual drive to improve the quality of care our patients receive.”

It was also stated that the news didn’t come as a shock, as it would be expected to get more complaints as it is the largest NHS Trust in England.

This comes as the number of complaints in general has gone up by over 1,200 since the previous year to 174,000.

The report was carried out by an ombudsman. London Live’s James banks was live at the Trust.
