The mayor of London branded critics of the development as “gloomadon poppers” as he spoke in Kuala Lumpar during his tour of the region.
Johnson claims that 60 per cent of the homes built will go to UK passport holders and suggested that naysayers should “put that in their pipe and smoke it.”

London Labour Assembly Members said that the development appeared to be “a million miles from affordable to ordinary Londoners”.
Evening Standard political correspondent Joe Watts joined us live from Kuala Lumpar to discuss the Mayor’s comments.
