500 more buses planned for London streets
2nd December 2014

Over 500 extra buses are planned to hit London's streets in the next six years.

The buses will be placed in what TfL calls key growth areas such as Barking Riverside and Elephant and Castle.

There are also plans to increase capacity on the tram between Wimbledon and Croydon by 50%.

The ideas are included in TfL's business plan that will be discussed by the board later this month.
