Five Londoners arrested on terror offences
2nd December 2014

Over the past few days the Met Police Counter Terrorism Command have arrested five men from London for planning acts of terror.

Two men in East London were arrested in the early hours of yesterday morning.

Previous to that, two days ago armed police foiled a terror plan, which saw two men suspected of terrorism being arrested as well as 13 others suspected of human trafficking and breaking immigration laws. The group were in a vehicle heading to Dover when police stopped it.

A fifth Londoner was arrested, yesterday, in Dover.

All five suspected terrorists have been taken to a central London police station, and the five addresses are being searched.
