London estates benefit from the Autumn Statement

London housing estates set to benefit from a £150 million regeneration scheme are to be announced by ministers today ahead of the Autumn statement. 

The Aylesbury estate in Southwark and Blackwall Reach in Tower Hamlets are on the shortlist. 

Winning areas will receive a government loan to develop plans and boost the number of homes available.
