The rise of David Gyasi: From three lines in Casualty to starring alongside McConaughey
8th December 2014

Hammersmith's David Gyasi is one of the fastest rising British actors in Hollywood. He's starred in The Dark Knight Rises and Cloud Atlas and can presently be seen alongside Matthew McConaughey, Anne Hathaway and Jessica Chastain in space epic Interstellar.

He spoke to London Live about his career so far, from his days in Casualty to his current Hollywood success. We hear he considers both to be a milestone. He says how nervous he felt sitting down for the first time with the Insterstellar cast, when he realised everyone present was an Oscar winner.

There's also something of an exclusive as David reveals he's excited to be producing something with John Boyega, who is in the upcoming Star Wars blockbuster.
