The poppy factory that helps veterans find work
9th December 2014

This year, London Live are taking up the cause of our country’s homeless veterans for our Christmas campaign.

We visited The Poppy factory, which helps veterans find employment.

Many veterans struggle to show employers they have transferable skills and need help doing so, despite the breadth of experiences they have in the armed forces.

Day-to-day life in the armed forces might mean facing Somali pirates rather than battling with the commute, meaning the transition to civilian life can be a difficult one. We’re supporting Veterans Aid, who help ease that process.
