Is Miss World still relevant in 2014?

The finals of the Miss World competition are being held in London this Sunday. 
A demonstration against the competition is being staged at the same time. 
Discussing how relevant the competition is in 2014 is Kirsty Heslewood, the current Miss England, Alize Lily Mounter, former Miss UK and comedian political activist Kate Smurthwaite. 
Ms Smurthaite will be joining protestors on Sunday. 
The competition will be broadcast live on London Live on Sunday at 3pm.
