X Factor winner Ben Haenow said he’ll miss driving vans

He may have taken the X Factor crown but Croydon boy Ben Haenow said he’ll miss driving vans through London.

The 29-year-old was named as this year’s X Factor winner after going head-to-head with Fleur East in the 2014 final at Wembley Arena.

But he told London Live that he still find being called a pop star weird and that he’ll miss some parts of his former job as a van driver.

“I’ll miss the stress relief of driving around and giving the occasional deep of the horn and friendly hand gesture,” he said.

Ben was mentored by Simon Cowell on the show in the over-25s group.
