Cold weather sparks holiday bookings

With Christmas winding down and the dark evenings of January ahead, it will come as no surprise that industry experts expect tonight to be the busiest time for online holiday bookings.
Experts predict a surge in online traffic for travel companies at around 8pm this evening.

Aviation expert Nicholas Painter-Bosworth explains why people are so keen to book up for something to look forward to at this time of year.

He also discusses the impact of recent aviation problems on the sector and whether the AirAsia disappearance will deter many potential customers from flying.
