Alan Pardew expected to be confirmed as Crystal Palace manager within 24 hours

Matt Gatward, Sports Editor of the Independent, joined Headline London to discuss the changes clubs are likely to make ahead of the transfer window.

It looks increasingly likely that Alan Pardew  will be the new manager at Crystal Palace, who Matt thinks is a good choice for the club and is likely to be confirmed within 24 hours.

Matt says Weger is never one to panic buy but his squad has been struggling and may be looking to buy William Carvalho and Edinson Cavani.

Matt says Chelsea don't need to buy as they have a settled squad who are "absolutely flying". He also explains why he would be surprised if they let Petr Cech go.
