Consultation closes over London Ultra Low Emission Zone

The scheme would mean that all cars driving into central London from 2020 meet strict emissions guidelines or pay a fee. 

It would also mean that taxis and private hire cars be zero emissions capable.

Jenny Bates, representative of Friends of the Earth, Gavin Thomson from Healthy Air Campaign and Steve Mcnamara,  General Secretary of Licensed Taxi Drivers Association, explain more.
