Stephen Fry at the BAFTA nominations

On Februrary 8, the BAFTA awards will light up the Royal Opera House for the ninth year running. This morning, saw actor, comedian and writer Stephen Fry and actor Sam Claflin announce the nominees for the awards.

The QI host and the Hunger Games star joined London Live’s Dan Freedman outside the Princess Anne theatre on Piccadilly, where they told Dan what they thought of the nominees and who they expected to do well.

It marks the 10th time Stephen Fry has hosted the awards.

For the previous five years, the BAFTAs have predicted the best picture winner at the Oscars, so it is thought many will be paying close attention to who and what is named. Last year, however, was notable for omitting both Jared Leto and Matthew McConaughey from the nominations for best actor.
