A driver died after crashing into a bus stop on Old Kent Road. The crash came after the the driver had reportedly been chased by three gunmen on mopeds.

London Live’s Luke Blackall was at Old Kent Road with the details.

It is understood that the victim's body was too badly burned for officers to determine the age or gender of the victim when they arrived at the scene on Sunday morning.

Onlookers described the scene as "something from a Hollywood film". The car hit a bus stop, rolled and hit a tree, where it exploded. Reportedly, flames lept up to 12 feet into the air.
