Playout Pitch: Tom Figgins

Tom describes his music as ‘an earthy blend of acoustic folk rock.’

His different and powerful tones has just led to him being signed, by no other than Nick Stewart & Associates, U2’s record label.

He was born into a family of non-musicians, however Tom puts his love of music down to his parents’ upright piano in their Notting Hill home.

He wrote his first EP when he was only 19 years-old, and has had his work appreciated on both sides of the atlantic.

He joined The Evening Show to showcase his new work.
