Awkward swinging with Contact.com

Contact.com is a new play that opens this week at Park Theatre in Finsbury Park. It stars former Eastender Charlie Brooks.

The premise is a simple exploration of an element of the online dating age: it follows the story of two straight couples who meet up for some dinner and a bit of no-frills swinging.

After only exchanging some photos online, this is the first time they're meeting in the flesh and both get far more than they bargained for.

There's the awkwardness of any first date - but throw in the dynamic of swinging and recriminations after the event and this is a play that will make you think about wife swapping in a completely new way.

Charlie told London Live:

"It's the consequences of a bit of wife swapping basically and the ramifications of that and how each person within the couples deals with it. It's not a play that's just all about sex!"

Contact.com opens at Park Theatre January 14 and runs until Valentines Day.
