Today is ‘Blue Monday’ the most depressing day of the year

You may want to stay in bed today, as it seems  there is noting to wake up for…apparently.

Today has been dubbed as ‘Blue Monday’ - the most depressing day of the year.

Over the last few years web analysis has shown that rain, debt, divorce and a lack of mince pies all provide us reasons to be glum - today is the worst of all.

But we have the answers to beat the blues and enjoy this down-in-the-dumps-day.

HuffPost UK Lifestyle’s ‘Say No To January’ campaign is all about refusing to accept the traditional idea of January.

They say: “The new year shouldn't mean beating yourself up about the relationship that went wrong, the calories you consumed in December or the money you over-spent on presents. It should be an exciting time to celebrate yourself and embrace positive change.”

Danny Brent from Project Awesome joined Wake Up London to give his tips on how to love Mondays instead of loathing them.
