Successful baby organ transplants saves two
Doctors have successfully transplanted organs from a newborn baby who died six days after birth to two other patients.
The child's kidneys were transplanted to a patient with renal failure, and the child’s liver cells were donated to a patient with liver damage.
The operation took place at Hammersmith Hospital.
It is the first time doctors have performed such a complicated surgery on a newborn child.
The six-day-old baby girl suffered irreperal brain damage in the womb.
80-year-old woman with dementia burgled
Police in Croydon have released CCTV footage of the moment an 80-year-old woman, who suffers from dementia and Parkinson’s disease, was burgled.
Detectives say the suspect is believed to have broken into the house in South Norwood several times over the last few weeks, taking cash and ornaments.

The actress was on the show for 42 years died in a Manchester hospital.
Her husband David Beckett and the programme's cast and crew are said to be "heartbroken and deeply saddened".
60 firefighters stoke a blaze in Kensington saving a baby and two women
Two women and a baby were left suffering after they breathed in smoke when a fire broke out in two Victorian townhouses in West Kensington.
Eight engines and around sixty firefighters were called to the fire, which badly damaged the house, before spreading to a neighboring property.
The cause is not yet known.
Henry VIII victory hat to go on display
A Tudor hat, thought to have been thrown in the air in triumph by Henry VIII after the capture of Boulogne, is to go on display at Hampton Court Palace.
Henry led the siege of Boulogne in 1544, and when the heavily defended citadel fell Henry is thought to have thrown his hat, only for it to be caught and kept as a souvenir by one of his couriers.
Amazon start film production
Due to the critical and commercial success of series like Transparent, Amazon is to move into film production.
The online retailer plans to produce and acquire up to a dozen films a year for release in cinemas and through its online video service.

Forth remaining Magna Carta goes on display in House of Lords
The four remaining manuscripts of the Magna Carta are to go on display at the House of Lords, as a part of the 800th anniversary of the historic document.
They'll be on public display for just one day on February the fifth, with tickets being allocated to people across the country.
The manuscripts, famous for laying the foundations of the rule of law, are usually held by the British Library, and Lincoln and Salisbury Cathedrals.
Police deliver a baby as mother became trapped
A new mum has thanked two police officers who helped deliver her baby when she became trapped in her flat.
36-year-old Clare Hartnell was alone at home when she went into labour.
PCs Terry Powell and Andy Collins were nearby and picked up an emergency call and delivered baby Beatrice.
Both mum and Beatrice are now doing fine.
