LGBT and playing football

Homosexuality in English football is often said to be a taboo subject by players and the media.

As of today there are no openly gay players in the top four tiers of English football. The London Titans are trying to change this.

They're an LGBT football team that exist to enable players to enjoy the sport without fear of being judged and to combat discrimination.

The club was set up with founding principles that still exist to this day; to provide an opportunity for anyone - regardless of sexuality, race, ability or gender - to play football in a supportive environment and to allow people the opportunity to reach their potential.

London Live went to meet some of their players at a training session.
