The new Catlin Guide: the young artists you should know about

The author of the Catlin Guide, Justin Hammond, joined Wake Up London to discuss his book.
He explains why the annually updated guide means so much and what it says about the state of art in London and Britain today.
The book profiles 40 of the most promising art graduates in the UK, detailing their latest work and future shows and exhibitions.
The 2015 edition launches today at the London Art Fair, alongside the work of many of those featured in its pages.
The artists who make up the book are selected for their demonstration of ambition, skill and integrity. Because of this, the guide is widely read throughout the British art scene and is considered an accurate overview of new talent to watch.
Being included in the book can prove to be the launch of a great new talent, and can lead major exhibitions and recognition.
