‘Bigger Picture’ to launch in Hillingdon

A project which uses local people’s personal footage to map out a borough’s history is to launch in Hillingdon.
‘Bigger Picture’ launches on January 24 and showcases a collage of business and home footage that shows what real life was like in the area throughout the 20th century.
Joining Wake Up London was Rebekah Polding from Film London, who are behind the project.
She explains where the inspiration came from for the film and what the footage reveals about the area, the characters who lived there, and the change that has occurred.
It comes as part of the wider project “Part of London: A Bigger Picture.”
