Palace, Arsenal and Spurs match preview

Crystal Palace to face Southampton

Crystal Palace are set to face a tough match at Southampton on Saturday.

The side have been on strong form having notched up three wins out of three since Alan Pardew took over from Neil Warnock at the start of the month.

Evening Standard Sports Editor Tim Nichols said some will expect Pardew to field a weakened side.

But added Saints manager Ronald Koeman is more likely to rest players.

Tottenham Hotspur to host Leicester

Following an unimpressive performance against Sheffield United on Wednesday, Tottenham Hotspur are set to host Leicester this weekend.

Nichols said the team looked “tired” during their 1-0 victory in the semi-final first-leg.

But added that he fancies Spurs to win and that the side have “bigger fish to fry”.

Arsenal head to Brighton

In their first FA Cup game outside of London in two years, Arsenal will face Brighton & Hove Albion.

Nichols said it will be a tough game for Brighton – who are 20th in the second tier.
