Decommissioned M16s turned into art for Peace One Day project

Decommissioned M16 rifles have been reimagined as art to promote peace.
 
Leading contemporary artists have taken part in a new project to raise both awareness and funds for Peace One Day. The rifles are to be auctioned at Bonhams and are expected to raise thousands of pounds each.
 
Project co-ordinator James Golding joined Wake Up London to explain what Peace One Day is, how the project works and the names involved.
