Star Wars figurine sold for £18K

A Croydon man's Boba Fett Star Wars action figure has sold for a record £18,000 at auction.

Craig Stevens only paid £50 for the figure when he bought it in 1990.

The collectable was worth around only £1.50 when it was released in 1980.

The figure was only one of 10,000 pieces in Stevens's collection, but he says he has a good reason for selling.
