Weekend sport: Six Nations, Arsenal face Spurs and Crystal Palace against Leicester

A big weekend of sport lies ahead kicking off with the start of the Six Nations tonight.

England will face Wales in Cardiff in what promises to be an explosive opener.

The Lion’s last visit to the Millennium Stadium ended in the side being thrashed 30-3 in 2013.

In football, Arsenal are also set to face Tottenham Hotspurs in the north London derby.

Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettino has told his players not to let “bad energy” between the club’s fans and Emmanuel Adebayor destabilise the team.

The striker has been booed at White Hart Lane. It follows comments from the player that the “negative atmosphere” at the home of Spurs was impeding the team.

Another important match will see Crystal Palace face Leicester.

Evening Standard Sports Editor Tim Nichols explains more.
