‘Air BnB revolution’ could see Londoners let home short term

A new short term letting scheme could see Londoners earn thousands from letting their homes out for up to three months a year.

The move, which has been dubbed the ‘Air BnB revolution’, could follow new advice from ministers.

Currently homeowners are only able to let out their house, flat or spare room for less than three months without special planning permission.

Property expert Marta Souza explains if the move is the government’s response to the chanding market and whether hotels will be affected by it.
