Brundibar comes to the Queen Elizabeth Hall

Forty London schoolchildren have teamed up with the Mahogany Opera Group to perform a new production of the opera Brundibar at the Purcell Room at the Queen Elizabeth Hall as part of their Imagine Children’s Festival 2015.

The opera was famously performed by the children of World War II concentration camp Theresienstadt in 1943 and has been translated into English for this modern production. We went down to see what it was all about.
