How to survive a Zombie Apocalypse with Greg James

What Big Brother lacks are zombies clawing at the doors, slavering over the brains (or, after that small canapé, other organs) of the contestants, and while Charlie Brooker’s black comedy Dead Set presented this scenario, I Survived a Zombie Apocalypse tortures its housemates for real.

Yes, for real. The zombies used in this new reality show are genuine, official zombies.

Our TV editor Toby Earle braved the undead hordes to speak to presenter Greg James, who oversees the well-being of the contenders hiding at an abandoned shopping mall awaiting rescue. How the participants react and embrace their fictional predicament makes for far more fun than you’d presume.

During the interview we learn how James would cope in such an inevitable scenario, how he’d entertain himself in a deserted London with no law or order to curb his excesses, and what he’d miss least if society were to collapse in a bloody, bitten heap.
