Laura Mvula: watching myself is "weird"

The first screening of Laura Mvula's concert film took place in Soho tonight.

The film documents Laura's peformance at The Paradiso in Amsterdam with Dutch orchestra The Metropole Orkest.

London Live's Maleena Pone sat down with the singer to explain why she won't be watching herself because she finds it weird and thinks it would be "really vain of me".

She said it was too "exhausting" to revisit the concert, which she said was "such a priviledge" to take part in.

Mvula also shared her thoughts on what she is hoping to do in the future and how much she enjoyed her recent work with jazz singer Gregory Porter, who she said was vocally "a beast".
