An eight-wicket thrashing for England

England suffered a huge defeat overnight to New Zealand.

England’s World Cup woes worsened last night as they lost in a dramatic fashion to New Zealand,  they were all out for 123, and lost the last 7 wickets for just 19 runs.

Joe Root top scored for England with 46.

Cricket fans are keeping their fingers crossed for a better outcome this Sunday against Scotland.

Tottenham draws with Fiorentina at home

Tottenham face a battle to remain in the Europa League - after drawing with Fiorentina at White Hart Lane.

Not even Harry Kane, a second half substitute managed to secure a late win for the home side.

The game ended 1-1 but Basanta gave Fiorentina an advantage with an away goal into their next game.
