Brother of Jimmy Savile was accused of carrying out sex attacks in a Tooting hospital

An NHS report says the older brother of Jimmy Savile was accused of carrying out sex attacks while working at Springfield Hospital in Tooting in south London between 1978 and 1980.

Johnny Saville, who died in 1998, was sacked as a result of the seven claims made against him.

In a seperate report, also published today, it was said that the former BBC TV presenter Jimmy Savile abused 63 people at Stoke Mandeville Hospital in Buckinghamshire. The independent investigation said Savile's reputation as a sex-pest was an open secret among staff.
