Petition to save a south London cemetry gets 3,000 signatures

A petition against plans to increase the size of a south London cemetery has gathered more than three thousand signatures.

Southwark Council says the Camberwell Old Cemetery is quickly running out of space and landscaping surrounding woodland would solve the problem.

Campaigners say they want the area protected as a nature reserve.

We put the campaigner's concerns to Southwark Council and Cllr Darren Merrill, cabinet member for environment.
